RB Strategy (1 Viewer)

So as bad as Detroit looked today, I thoguht I would go out and see which RB's face them in the next couple of weeks. As luck would have it, I don't have an RB going against them until week 8.

If you are lucky and had a QB that played well this week and you can trade with the Brady owner, you may want to check the Lions schedule. If you have a guy on your bench like Rivers, you might be able to steal a guy like Forte or DeAngelo.

The Lions have historically tended to lay an egg in road games and get blown out (see Philly game last year). They usually play much better at home so I would temper expectations that any player can put up huge numbers on them every week. I would start everyone I could v. Detroit when they are on the road. If they are at home though, I would not be so quick to do so just because it is the Lions.

I wouldn't hesitate to throw in just about anybody against the Lions. That includes at home. The Lions lack talent and size on the defensive side.

The Lions are traditionally one of the worst road teams in the NFL. That said, they still stink against the run. The only problem with this strategy is that it is impossible to find ANY legitimate RB not on somebody's roster, so it isn't like you can just pick up the back who is playing against the Lions in a given week.
