Reasons and Rules for Futures in Dynasty Leagues (1 Viewer)

Would love to hear reasons for allowing 'futures' in Dynasty Leagues and Rules that you use for your leagues.

I 'think' futures means you can draft a guy not in the draft, and have the rights to him the following year?

This league has a college draft and 5 man college roster. The roster does not account or any current year scoring and is merely a measure of how well a personidentifies future NFL talent.

That last sentence is why a league would adopt some future principle. For those of us that follow college football, the earlier a person can identify a college who has superstar pro potential that is a skill world rewarding.
