I am not surprised, I expect him back around week 3. What I am curious about is Dwyer vs Redman. I had Dwyer in a flex spot as well.

Dwyer is the clearly the higher upside play and the one I'd flex if I were absolutely forced to, but this, much like the WAS situation, is one to avoid for the moment.

yeah, unless its all coach speak, i really think dwyer is the start here and he may even steal the fulltime role. im rolling with him at flex regardless of this news. reminds me of last year when derrick ward was named week 1 starter for foster but tate got more carries and was the better play

So you're in the camp that thinks Redman is starting only because he's such a legend the coaching staff thinks he deserves the honor, like they did for Bettis?

What else would they do? Anyway I'm a Dwyer guy and everything I saw in preseason makes me believe he's a better back. I'm starting him tonight but I can't say I'm terribly happy about it.

You're right. I'm a Dywer onwer still debating between him and Hillis as my flex.While I really believe Dwyer is the better play over Redman and why I drafted him, I could see it playing out any number of ways.
