Did the ball not cross the goal line before he fumbled?RG3 with the rushing td, he fumbled going into the endzone, recovered by Garcon...i think its rg3's td
Correct and after Antonio Brown scoring controversy, we get this one this weekDoes the rule about not advancing a fumble only apply during the 2:00 before a half/EOG?
To be fair, it's been a huge weak spot for the 'Skins. I think Tampa would have been crazy not to try. Will be interesting to see what half time adjustments are made.So Tampa's gameplan was to have Freeman chuck the ball all over the place? really?

Martin has 2 rushing attempts. Not exactly bunches.I'm not a huge fan of his at all, but Blount needs more touches than the very very minimal amount he was. You can only go to something that's not working (Martin in bunches and bunches) so many times.
Video of the collision.Crazy collision pregame made aldrick robinson and brandon merriwheater inactive.
Yes and no. Morris on a 39 yard TD.Haven't been able to watch the game but I noticed the RG3 rushing TD's. Is Morris in on those plays? Is RG3 taking a beating in this game like the last few?
Yes, Morris was in. Both were designed QB draws.Haven't been able to watch the game but I noticed the RG3 rushing TD's. Is Morris in on those plays? Is RG3 taking a beating in this game like the last few?
So far, not quite as bad. He's had two big** hits, but he's running it less (again, so far)."Notable" may be a better term than "big".Is RG3 taking a beating in this game like the last few?
This. Cant believe he emerged like this..I am liking this Alfred guy more and more each week.
I think he's better than Martin but not sure we'll see a lot of him when they're already down 21-3.But so far:Blount 1 rush 5 yardsMartin 3 rushes 5 yardsBlount owners...start your engines
Thought it was obvious from my post that I meant 'to date', but they simply can't keep giving him 20 carries a game averaging 2 or 3 yards/carry. There's simply no reason Martin should continue at the rate of carries he's gotten (63 carries to Blount's 7)Especially when the guy behind you (Blount) has a career average around 4.5 yards per carry.I can understand Schiano having 'his guy' Martin, but 'your guy' simply has been ineffective so far handling the load. Lessening it may make him, and the team's rush offense, more effective. It can't get any worse.Martin has 2 rushing attempts. Shiano strikes me as kind of a stubborn fool. He might go a whole season giving Martin 300 carries at 3 ypc rather than admitting that The Hamster just isn't as good as Blount.'Craig_MiamiFL said:Thought it was obvious from my post that I meant 'to date', but they simply can't keep giving him 20 carries a game averaging 2 or 3 yards/carry. Rookie going up against some very solid defenses in the first three games. Redskins are very good against the run also.I still think Martin has a decent rookie year.'Craig_MiamiFL said:Thought it was obvious from my post that I meant 'to date', but they simply can't keep giving him 20 carries a game averaging 2 or 3 yards/carry. If you can't chcuk it all over Washington, you need to find a new job and this guy needs to find a new job.'cubbie5150 said:So Tampa's gameplan was to have Freeman chuck the ball all over the place? really?

Haha, yeah, the stingy Carolina D stuffed Andre Brown - allowing him just 113 yards on 20 carries (5.7ypc). They also stoned Pierre Thomas - kept him to only 110 yards on 9 carries (12.2 ypc). They were also like the 31st or 32rd ranked rush D last year. The Giants held DeAngelo to 4.5 ypc (50 yards on 11 carries) and DeMarco Murray to 6.6 ypc (131 yards on 20 carries). They've played three tough defenses to date. Schedule is fixing to get a lot easier. That said, when Freeman isn't capable of backing defenses off the LOS, it probably won't matter.
Dallas held Bradshaw to 4.6 ypc (78 yds on 17 car) and Lynch to 4.7 ypc (122 on 26).
The only thing making those defenses look tough was Doug Martin. I'm not sure I'd count on the schedule to fix what is wrong here. Freeman and the play calling are part of the problem, no doubt, but that was part of the problem last year, too.
Well, the thing is that Nicks wasn't even on the team last year and Freeman was terrible last year, too. Yet Blount still managed a decent average (4.2 ypc) on a team that had clearly given up. It's not that I dislike The Hamster, but I just think Blount is better. This year they sign a deep threat to open things up and they sign the top free agent o-lineman and yet Shiano is sticking with a 3.4 ypc guy while stubbornly letting Blount rot on the bench. Just doesn't make sense.Hey FFNinja, do you look at the OL and how they are blocking? Do you think Carl Nicks is living up to his mega contract? What impact does the OL blocking have on you repeatedly trying to hammer down on Doug Martin who is a rookie? What is you don't like about Doug Martin? I'll be glad to engage with you but your attitude towards others is simply "You're right, they're wrong", I hope you can explain your position on a guy who has only played 3 NFL games and has a horrendous starting QB in Josh Freeman.
