Donald Driver has always seems like one of the most undervalued guys in fantasy, but surpsisingly he puts up numbers every single year. The year that Javon Walker became the #1 receiver for Favre, Driver very quietly remained a top 12 receiver..
I'm starting to think that Reggie Brown can play the part of Donald Driver. He had a very nice end of his 2005 campaign with former RU standout Mike McMahon at the helm and has continued with 5 solid games in 2006.
I've watched 3 Eagles games and it was obvious that Stalworth's deep threat became the instant offense McNabb was looking for since he lost TO... but quietly Reggie Brown has continued to post solid numbers and in the games that Stalworth did not play Brown put up great numbers and in the game that Stalworth was hindered his #'s were steady.
both of their #'s through 5 games
BROWN STALWORTH

my main concern is that Brown's catches were minimal (although they were for TD's) in games that Stalworth has been 100%, so if/when Donte comes back he might suffer some in production.. It looks like Stalworth (with a tear in the hamstring) will probably not be 100% in the forseeable future, which only bodes well for Brown.. I think you are in good shape if you can start Brown in the next few weeks..
The funny thing is that during the Giant game with Stalworth in the mids of two huge games, the announcers on Fox said that McNabb still considers Reggie Brown his #1 receiver. I was obviously not happy to see that Stalworth had taken all the yards from Brown but was at least happy to hear that McNabb still saw him as his #1 (this could just be QB Speak to keep his receivers happy but never-the-less)
Reggie Brown seems like he can be that unheralded 2nd option in an offense which right now is one of the best passing offenses in the NFL and in situations where the other receiver is out, he has taken an even bigger part to the offense.
Eagles fans might be better ones to chime in here, since they have presumably watched all five games..
