Reggie Bushs worth? Non-ppr leagues: (1 Viewer)

Da Guru

Fair & Balanced
It seems like Bush is the forgotten man in the Saints offense. With Colsten assuming the Gates role and Duece pounding it in on the goal line things are not looking good for Reginald.

That's quite an overstatement considering the week he had last week and eight catches today. :fishing: ?

you're right I would cut him ASAP

If leading your team in receptions translates into the "forgotten man", then maybe I should rethink my fantasy strategy and be on the lookout for more forgotten players.

I just can't believe the Saints are 2-0. I know they have played some bad teams, but they actually have looked....dare I say it...."good."

Saints only had 2 snaps inside the GB 10 yd line today (both from the GB 3), one was an incomplete pass attempt to the TE and the other was Deuce's TD.

 On a horrible outing Bush still had 8 catches for 68 yards. In PPR leagues, he's gold.
It just seems he is not a real big part of the offense.
I felt the opposite. He was heavily involved, but just couldn't bust a big one or turn a corner. He'll have his days ahead, but there will be more days like this one as well. I can see the letdown in non-PPR, but PPR leaguers are :jawdrop: at the pair of 8 reception games. His versatility kinda makes him rut proof.

Forgotten, week 2? With the most receptions on the team today and the second in receiving yards?

Yea, chalk him up as yet another first round BUST.

Excellent point. He should be cut in all leagues and all formats.

Amazing what a good HC and a QB with heart and a brain can do for a team.
If he gets courage, there will be no stopping him...
Unless Reggie Bush dons ruby slippers, shrugs off a harsh NFL wardrobe fine, and clicks his heels together while making a wish to return to his home planet of Zybax 7, where he is considered slow of foot.

I swear to God this is the worst post I've ever seen. He has 16 freaking receptions in 2 games. He's a very large part of the offense, unfortunately he just hasn't busted any long runs yet.

i used to be a brooks apologist but maybe he really was the problem... or a sizable part of it anyway
Especially given how this game started. Three posessions, three turnovers, down 13-0. Came back to take the lead by halftime. This Saints team seems to have an attitude about it and it keeps fighting. The previous versions of the Saints would have laid down with a start like this.No where near enough talent to make the playoffs, but at least Bush brings talent to the table and Brees seems to be a leader. The coaching staff seems to be quality. Good building blocks for the future. Now, if they can only improve their drafting(obviously not referring to Bush).
