Curious why it was the Colts letting the Jets hang around rather than the other way? Seriously. This wasn't a great Colts team no matter how you look at it so I am not sure why the Jet's get the "just lucky to be hangin around" underdog role. I'm as least surprised by this outcome than I am any of the others this weekend. But you are 100% right on in that no WR ever thinks they are covered...at least not so covered that they can't be thrown to. Fact is, special teams let the Colts down. If it weren't for that return, there's a good chance we're sitting here talking about how Manning won the game late in the 4th with his Reggie Wayne tied behind his back.I think that the Colts played better football the majority of the game, however could not execute when it counted. You let any team hang in there and you are putting yourself in a position to lose. Wayne did not appear to be getting separation but most receivers think they are open all of the time. Colts have themselves to blame for letting this one slide away.I'm not sure that Reggie Wayne being more involved would have changed things. Peyton was efficient as a passer, but the jets played a great game. I was cheering for the colts but the better team won. Shrug
