I think this thread was just added to one or more of those agencies' archives. Mods please hard delete.

Too many whackos with guns ready to be drawn over any incident. Swat away.
Thus we see the heart of modern liberalism, breathing, beating, loving militaristic authority.

Thank you, Big Steel Thrill, for the predictable liberal response. The Dept. of Agriculture certainly needs SWAT and military-style raids on raw milk. ;) *ding*

It isnt over milk. Its over the Gun fanatics. I would prefer no swat and no gun fanatics who are ready to draw down over any and every incident.

But it's the milk that brings the SWAT out, no?

I'm playing sport. Look, I know the liberal position from Ruby Ridge and Waco. I want to ask conservatives why they've funded and appropriated these military-style operations and equipment and then given them over to regulatory agencies. It's an embarrassment.

The Pentagon is giving school districts military gear also. Stuff like assault rifles and grenade launchers.

"In California, state documents published by Muckrock show that district police forces have received M16 assault rifles, grenade launchers"I know LA returned the grenade launchers. That does not mean all the district in Cali returned their grenade launchers. This is across the country. Lots of districts returned the weapons which is good. Not all the weapons were returned. Many have kept them.

My bad, No Script killed the map and left such a big space I thought the article ended, didn't get down to that part.

I would assume they would be used for tear gas only, and not sure even that should be needed for a school police force.
