I'm picking up a 116500ln Rolex (white dial), dealer said I should have it next month... No shtick, if you can walk into a store and buy it for MSRP, I'll give you an extra $3k on top of what you pay for this worthless good if you buy it at MSRP, which Rolex dealers have to sell it at. Should be the easiest $3k you ever make in your life. So, the next time you walk by a Rolex dealer, ask them for that reference number, buy it, and make $3k the same day. (I'll make you the same offer for a 326934 blue dial)

I buy these worthless watches, wear them, and when I tire of one, I sell it, usually for more than I paid... However, apparently they're worthless. 

Unfortunately nobody on this board understand watches (actually prob a good thing) bc this is the ultimate buffoon comment for anyone that understands, obviously not expecting that here, so go ahead and crack your jokes. 

You guys seem fascinated by watches as everyone loves bringing them up, really should do some reading first - I'm sure your hobbies are also profitable

Considering it seems the majority of the market is tied to BTC for better or worse...  what advice would you have if BTC ####s? I doubt ETH will just stay the course. I don’t think BTC holds any long term technical solutions but it’s the crux of crypto right now just based on speculation/reputation. It may not be right but it is what it is.

Before I go to bed I move everything over to tether. So until tether is exposed as a fraud that's my plan, plus it's nice to wake up and find everything discounted.

I think I’m just out until it happens. Really sucks that there isn’t a major fight against it and it’s playing as background noise right now.

Or maybe it can accommodate some. The technical solution might be the difference between teleporting at the speed of light vs. extra lanes to go 70mph on the highway.

How long will it take to implement the LN? Because it doesn't seem like there's much time. We could enter a bear cycle or some other faster/cheaper crypto can gain a lot traction while BTC flounders.

Sounds like they've already been test-running it for quite some time, being uber-careful to iron out kinks before rolling it out. In fact, you can test it out yourself, if you care to. "There isn't much time" is what panicky speculators say. The smart developers (guys like Richard Heart) look at the underlying technology, not for what it means in the next 15 minutes but long term. If guys like him are bullish on core for the long haul, so am I. I'm actually enjoying watching the soft hands pack up and leave. More btc for me.

 
I won't be surprised if Raiblocks is the new Bitcoin.

crypto sale happening tonight.  enjoy the X-Mas gift everyone.  I just picked up some bTC under 14k.  almost feel like a thief.

 
Charlie Lee tweeted about the China exchange thing before it was big news (then deleted the tweets for some reason).

Then he tweets about selling off his own holdings and the market tanks.  I'm not a big Lee fan and I don't think Litecoin will ever matter beyond simple name recognition but he sends some real smart signals some times.  

Just sort of staying put right now.  This is certainly a dip, but it is not a crash.  When the sky is falling and there's blood in the streets is when I'm going all-in.

My honest opinion is you might be waiting a little while for blood on the streets, weeks/months, not years though.

This is an exciting time imo. Feel like I can get into the actual tech I'm excited about. Lesson learned by me, and thankfully it was a cheap lesson. :D

 
I sold this morning and I’m about even... about $20 down after being about +240. When I sold I figured I’ll let go of the hot potato. When I got to work, I checked prices and I would have lost about ~$120 had I kept my coins. It’s been red for the last couple days... no up swings at all.
