How cool would this fantasy football league be? The top retired or not currently working NFL coaches would make up the owners of the league.

1. Marv Levy

2. Bill Parcells

3. Don Shula

4. Brian Billick

5. Bill Cowher

6. Jim Mora

7. Jeff Fisher

8. Dan Reeves

9. **** Vermeil

10. Mary Scottenheimer

11. Jimmy Johnson

12. Buddy Ryan

13. John Madden

14. Joe Gibbs

15. Mike Ditka

16. John Gruden

I guess it would make an intriguing dynasty league, because they're all inevitably better talent evaluators than most of the FF-playing population (with some rare exceptions).

But in a re-draft? I think that many top FF owners could do very well in leagues with these guys.

Would be cool for dynasty, though.

While it might be entertaining to see how it turned out as a fan, I don't think they'd be particularly good at the game. Most of them are winners. They care about winning. Stats aren't important to them and I doubt it would be easy for them to think in terms of "stats only."

I must question your omission of Mike Holmgren.

I left guys currently working in the NFL off the list. Holmgren is Cleveland's GM.
