In an effort to get out in front of the 20 or so leagues I commish, oversee or otherwise have some administrative function with, I open this thread to see exactly who the returning owners will be, and check in on any conflicting draft dates later this summer. The players:

If Monday June 16 works for everyone, I'd like to zero in on that date to kick us off.

As a reminder, 'The Reunion' is the cast from SSL-IV's '04 season, save a couple replacements.

And as a tribute to the outstanding comrodery and gamesmanship w/in the group, we fellow FBG's gather here each summer to once again try to prove who's best, but more than that, have a great time drafting a 14 team, H-2-H league scoring in Survivor-tpye bestball format. Fees for said effort are $25 if by check, $26 if by PayPal.

In the past, Twilight has allowed us to piggyback his group of FBG and other leagues on his site---we'll see if that is still the case, worst case senario we run this through MFL.com and piggy back off my group rate for The Misfits.

All SSL rules apply, and there is but 1 winner, so this is a winner-take-all prize pot...(note to TL-I owe you some coin, as I figured the payout on a 12 teamer :shrug: )

In. Haven't we previously had a slow mock forum draft?

When are misfit dues due? I would like to combine my payment in for both if possible.

I guess I am open in June, seems like forever away.

Misfit fees due June 1--several strech it a week or 2, which is why it isn't July 1 anymore! (vaca time) :goodposting:

Hook--once we roll for draft position, you might not be "OTC" until Tue anyway...

oh, and if anyone wants to jump on a waiting list, there has been 1 or 2 owners that couldn't make the draft or whatever, so chime in also if interested

sorry, forgot that it was a slow draft here - so anyday is fine.June = baseball season, so Monday is a very busy day for me :lmao:
 
I'm in again most likely. I will be in the middle of a cross country move in late June - Early July though so will have to make some picks via cell phone.

We comp Twilight a team in exchange for the use of his site - I hope that will continue. I like having all my FBG MB league results in one place.ShadowMaster is IN PS - I'll be back on my normal account by then :hifive:

My bad, I've been brutally absent from this board for a while and thus didn't see this thread until Ravn messaged me. The original champ is back! I wouldn't miss this draft - best group of guys. Looking forward to it!! I'm still a little bitter about how my season ended last year ;-)

OK...we're setfees are $25($26 via PayPal)...we'll need to settle that up prior to rolling for draft position

draft starts Monday June 16th....we'll set this up the same as last year, which had us start posting picks the weekend before(w/no clock), once everyone paid---so, the sooner we square away the fees, the sooner we assign draft position and fire this baby up!

By the way, why are we waiting so long to start? My efforts to keep us continually drafting from Jan to Sep are falling by the wayside.

agreed lets start asap. I'm moving across the country in late June. It would be nice to finish the bulk of it by then.

OK, that was quick...nice work guys--that's the kinda glue that keeps this group together!I'm going to set up a dice roll for everyone, and copy Hook the results---once we set the batting order, I'll PM everyone that we are starting early and won't set the clock until the startup date---heLL, we might be done by then! :shrug:

meh...dice site on the fritz--I'll try again later :(
