Review Every TD? (1 Viewer)

The new "review every TD rule" is very anticlimactic. They should encourage the Ref to show more emotion, like when an umpire "punches out" a called 3rd strike. The review process is definitely going to be painful. Are they going to review breakaways?

From what I understand obvious TDs arent reviewed but if there is anything questionable its reviewed.

They have a booth watching and anytime a team scores the refs get one of two signals, clear meaning it stands or review meaning they need to go to the booth.

I like this. College ball does it already, and they won't stop to review touchdowns where there is no question about it.

I never get this stupid argument and quite frankly it pisses me off. Let's say a game ends 35-28. Albeit an abnormal score on the high side. Even if every single TD was challenged, it would add an extra 9 minutes onto the game. Is someone really that opposed to it? I myself would actually prefer if I had 9 more mins tO watch on a sunday....

That's not how it works in the Big Ten. Not even once per game do you notice any delay. There is no challenge system - the plays are simply automatically reviewed and play continues as normal unless the replay booth notifies the field.

Exactly, college pulls this off so much better than the NFL, it's a complete joke. Unless fans are already screaming at their TV that it was a blown call, there's not so much as a hiccup on the field.
