Now you're just acting hysterical. Link to argument for death?Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.

I thought 2 games was a joke but the video did move me even more. He show no remorse after dropping her , he looked annoyed he had to drag her out of the elevator like a bag of trash. Yes the video changes thingsDoes the video change the fact of what happened? What did you think a KO of a woman by an NFL player looked like? Not what the video .If there were video of Vick lynching dogs, he'd be dead by now. That's what they said about Vick.No way. He's a (rightfully) pariah now. No one is going to touch him this season... possibly ever.Good job, Ravens.
However, do you think a team will pick him up?
Intentional. Non-intentionalKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
Too bad this wasn't the case from the beginning. He is now suspended indefinitely by NFL. Getting what he deserves.
Getting behind the wheel of your car while drunk isn't intentional?Intentional. Non-intentionalKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.

Let me be clear, Ray Rice is a doosh, he deserved a stiffer penalty. Problem is I believe in due process. He was already punished for his infraction/mistake/crime, now he is punished again because people saw what they already knew. He shouldnt be punished further.######ed, isn't it? It's all about how much info about a situation that can be kept in the closetKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.

True. But, you can't equate death and a punch to the face. Even the law is clear on that. Involuntary manslaughter will get you more time than a punchIntentional. Non-intentionalKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
Seriously?Intentional. Non-intentionalKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
Why can't he seriously be a clown? Not all clowns are funny. He's a clown. You serious or just a clown?? If your serious about a man punching a woman and thinks this punishment is "absurd" go get your head examined!!!Absurd
He deserves to not be employed? He is now suspended indefinitely by NFL. Getting what he deserves.
NFL is the joke here imo. Ravens released him, now the NFL dog piles on the rabbit and suspends him indefinitely. The Ravens are a joke. They knew what he did--seeing the video or not. Now their just saving face.
Don't get me wrong--he should be cut, but it shouldn't have been dependent on the first part of the video.
I don't want to flame on this so let's not but, seriously: What exactly changed for people to go from not rioting in the streets over a two game suspension to standing on soap boxes and patting people on the back for them lowering the hammer on him?I thought 2 games was a joke but the video did move me even more. You keep saying death. I don't think that means what you think it means.Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.

I agree.NFL is the joke here imo. Ravens released him, now the NFL dog piles on the rabbit and suspends him indefinitely. The Ravens are a joke. They knew what he did--seeing the video or not. Now their just saving face.

Shouldnt surprise you coming from the franchise that has a Ray Lewis statue. The Ravens are a joke. They knew what he did--seeing the video or not. Now their just saving face.
So killing people is not as bad as punching a woman? Now you're just acting hysterical. Link to argument for death?Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
Intentional or not a person is responsible for their actions and one action resulted in death and one resulted in marriage. I think that is where some people scratch their heads.Intentional. Non-intentionalKilling men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
That was the hyperbole from what I am getting in this thread. You keep saying death. I don't think that means what you think it means.Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
100% agree.I don't think people are paying attention if they think his career is over.
My guess is he will get an open ended suspension (ala Greg Williams) and after going through counseling, the suspension will be lifted after one year and next summer he will be on some other teams training camp roster.

Self righteousness on this topic is through the roof.
Yes. If a video of you doing the same thing was published by a local news source and shown to your employer, wouldn't you also be fired? He deserves to not be employed? He is now suspended indefinitely by NFL. Getting what he deserves.
Yeah.... Because domestic abuse is hilarious...I feel bad for him, he was just doing what he has been coached to do all his life.... "HIT THE HOE HARD"
Cool, let him be one of the unemployed people we pay for on government assitance, so the self righteous people can then complain about him collect welfare since he cant work.Yes. I think he's done from a PR standpoint, but it's easier to take that position given his 272 touches and 3.61 yards per touch in 2013.100% agree.I don't think people are paying attention if they think his career is over.

He has to do the mea culpa tour. Once he does that, the story becomes "he's turned his life around" and he'll start developing allies in the league and media again and he'll get back on a team.
No chance he's finished. He's on a team's camp roster next year.
You caught meYeah.... Because domestic abuse is hilarious...I feel bad for him, he was just doing what he has been coached to do all his life.... "HIT THE HOE HARD"
Woah woah I missed the posting where someone said he should die. Link pls? Quote pls? Otherwise your posting has no merit.Cool, let him be one of the unemployed people we pay for on government assitance, so the self righteous people can then complain about him collect welfare since he cant work.Yes. Like I said, give him death.....
BUT LET THE PEOPLE WHO KILL OTHERS WHILE DRINKING AND DRIVING PLAY!
Hyperbole much? Or did I miss the death penalty for felony assault?Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.
Punch a woman, and get banned from the NFL and should receive death.
Domestic violence always is a hootI feel bad for him, he was just doing what he has been coached to do all his life.... "HIT THE HOE HARD"
Because it continues to remain dead?Thought that horse had been beaten to death by now. That's one tough horse.
It could be nose-picking science and he'd still post the same way. It's not rocket science

Read the entire thread. Yes I stated I was using hyperbole 10 minutes before you posted.Hyperbole much? Or did I miss the death penalty for felony assault?Killing men while drunk driving, allowed back in the league.

You are really riding this horse. It's not rocket science - you could probably be working any job, a fast food cashier, and if you were on video knocking out your spouse, you'd probably be fired.
Except Rice is getting paid millions and will be OK financially (unless he's a moron, as well). He'll have the option to get picked up at a later time if he can convince someone that he can stay out of trouble. He's older, though, so he probably won't be able to be a RB anymore in the NFL, like TONS of other RBs creeping up on 30 years old.
Except they didn't commit assault, so I tend to feel for the "good guys" that lose their jobs a little more.
You have a point about people reacting more when they actually see it, and they should have been just as outraged before.I don't want to flame on this so let's not but, seriously: What exactly changed for people to go from not rioting in the streets over a two game suspension to standing on soap boxes and patting people on the back for them lowering the hammer on him?I thought 2 games was a joke but the video did move me even more. Just because we now saw the tape? We already knew what happened. Are we so desensationalized that we need it in our face to get it? If someone tells me a guy raped a girl I don't need to see it happen to understand the severity of that.
I, like most, thought the punishment was weak. But now I think it's borderline martyr/witch hunt. They have done everything today except drag his body through town square. We get it. He's a ##### and he is getting the hammer dropped but I feel as bad for us for switching from one stance so hard as I do for anyone else. We already knew and understood what he did to the woman.
Only if he goes the Andy Kaufman routeCould have an MMA career
Greg Hardy will get a 6 game suspension. He flies under the radar, does not have the name that Ray Rice has. Also, no video, despite being convicted and threatening to kill his wife.Isn't the new policy a 6 game suspension for a first offense and then a lifetime suspension after that? As far as I know this is his first offense? He made a terrible mistake for sure, but I do think he deserves at least one more chance.
I know it will be tough for any team to take him because of the public reaction they will get, but as stated above there were a couple guys who received second chances after being involved in someones death.
Just my opinion
Maybe. Guys have done worse. I think most people would have written off Vick after pictures of those dogs started leaking out.I think he's done from a PR standpoint, but it's easier to take that position given his 272 touches and 3.61 yards per touch in 2013.100% agree.I don't think people are paying attention if they think his career is over.
