I may be misremembering, but wasn't she part of the BCS committee that picked the college playoff teams for a while?

I believe she was.  Her name has been floated as a possible NFL commissioner as well.

I think both sides could agree on this, she seems wayyyyy better than what we're stuck with these days.

Fixing the US is relatively easy.  Getting Denver through the rest of the AFC West requires somebody with Rice's unique skillset.
