R&B singer Bobby Womack died today at the age 70. A lot of singers had more hits but few had more soul. He was still moving his music forward until the end, guesting on "Stylo" and releasing "The Bravest Man in the Universe" in 2012 that updated his sound while leaving the essence intact.

Lots of great stuff. I really liked his 2012 "Bravest Man in the Universe" produced by Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur). Looks like he will have one last album released this year, also produced by Albarn and featuring a lot of big name guests.
