Golden Richards, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver known for his famous Super Bowl XII catch against the Denver Broncos, died on Friday of congestive heart failure his family said. He was 73.

First game I remember watching- Super Bowl 12. Seven years old. Remember his TD catch. Became a Cowboys fan that day and have never looked back. RIP.

He seemed to really struggle with life after football. Such a shame.
