RIP Riley (1 Viewer)

Typing s### out on an anonymous message board makes this seem so trivial, but I truly am sorry Shady. RIP Riley. She was and will continue to be an inspiration to many here.

 
So sorry for your loss.  May she rest peacefully now - it has been a hard journey for many of us, and most of all to those closest to her...

 
It's depressing as hell that this is the third time this kind of tragedy has struck our little community (that we know of).  This is really heartbreaking.

 
I'm so sorry Shady. Riley was one helluva fighter. I hope your family can find peace and in time find some sort of strength to heal drawing from the strength she showed in battling all of her challenges. God bless you all.

 
You've always been an open book on these boards and in general, and I know I speak for everyone when I say thank you for allowing us to get to know Riley in our own little way. The courage you've shown in the face of tragedy is inspirational, and you and your daughter certainly brought our community closer together than I think it has ever been. Please continue to lean on everyone here for support, and take some small comfort in knowing that none of us will ever forget Riley and the incredible fight she put up

Like he says, anything at all. It's the least we can do to thank you for allowing us to be inspired by Riley.

 
Shady, I'm so sorry. I'm crying here. (I really do not have the words, best wishes to your family, and lean on the people who love you.) I will send some prayers to you and yours today. - SID.

 
Been following along and hoping/praying for you and your family.  Father of four daughters sending you my sincerest condolences..

This may not be the day or time, because nothing is as cruel or unfair as saying goodbye to a total innocent like Riley.  It's hard to make sense of a world like that. 

But I don't think of that, I think of Riley, who I never met or knew, and my own tough time a few months ago when it was a struggle each day. And I would think of her. And think if this little beam of light has the life to fight to live, who am I to complain about what I can say now was comparatively minor

So I just want to say, shady, her life was unfairly shortened beyond words but I want you to know your girl made and impact in this life, and I suspect to many more of us. Through you she was kind enough to lend us her light and while she's not of this realm, she will shine on.

My heart sank when I read the title change. I teared up when I read about Justin kissing her goodbye. God bless you and you family Shady. RIP Riley. 

 
In her short time on this earth, she accomplished more than most of us ever will.

She unified this dysfunctional group of football fanatics and had us all believing and hoping and loving and wanting the same thing...your daughter and your family's well-being.

She's a warrior and an inspiration to us all.

She lives within us.
