Let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas this year...

 
At the Wife's family reunion in West Virginia. Fairly sure I just visited the Double Deuce, though they apparently changed their name to The Tractor Bar.

Big ol tractor right in the middle of the bar, with old metal tractor seats as bar stools. Good ol boys everywhere.

Yeah, they sell shirts...............................and I just bought one. Both the best and worst decisions of my life to blow 18 bucks on that shirt.

 
Oh yeah, and Roadhouse falls into the category of movies that you just keep on and watch whenever you happen to see that it is on TV, the same category as wonderful flicks like:

Predator

Rocky 1,2,3,4,Rocky Balboa

Rambo 1,2, Rambo (new one)

Jaws

Alien, Aliens

Die Hard

Scarface

Caddyshack

These movies ruin many upon many other responsibilities.

I don't remember how old I was when I first saw Fast Times, but I definitely saw Splash first. I was 5 when it came out (guessing 7 when I saw it), and not that my parents were very strict about what we watched, but Splash is the sort of movie a parent wouldn't realize might not be appropriate until Hannah and her beautiful little B-cups and perfect tush are emerging from the water.

I'm also sure I saw Porky's before Fast Times somehow (Porky's is big in my family), and I do remember seeing those scenes for the first time.

Somehow, I might be the only 30-something guy alive that doesn't remember the first time I saw Phoebe Cates' boobs.

Right there with you.  Missed the Fast Times train, but I fondly remember Splash.  And spent a whole summer watching Roadhouse at my buddy's house on his parent's cheater cablebox.  "You're gonna be my regular Saturday night thing"
