Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, who suffered a concussion last week, will start Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, a league source has told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Griffin took part in the Redskins' full practice Friday for the first time this week.
He had been limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday while recovering from a concussion suffered in last week's 24-17 loss to the
Atlanta Falcons.
Griffin was subject to NFL-mandated post-concussion medical tests he was required to pass before he could play.
"If he passes his tests and we don't see any symptoms, then it looks like he'll be ready to go," coach Mike Shanahan said Friday.
Shanahan reiterated the final decision would be made by medical professionals.
Griffin had officially been listed as questionable on the Redskins' injury report.
