This is a hard match-up for me to evaluate. I think there are two overly-simplified ways to look at this matchup:
1. It's going to be a shoot-out and Big Ben is a good/great start this week.
2. This is a match-up of two excellent teams that will be close. The NE defense has slowed down a bit (in comparison to their early season standard), Pittsburgh has one of the best defenses, and a blue print for success has been shown. The NE defense is not shabby, so expect a decent game out of Ben with a change of a very good game and also a slight risk of a bad game.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd lean towards option 2. It's not scientific, but it seems like, more often than not, the "it's going to be a shoot-out" thinking rarely proves true.
I'm guessing a lot of Big Ben owners have a decent alternative at QB and are in the playoffs, so this is a critical decision.
Discuss.

. Pitt's running game is not nearly as dominant as it has been in the past but still put up decent total #s due to the # of plays they get on offense thanks to their defense and the type of game their D allows them to play. If it's a close game, and the Pats play = run vs. pass D, Parker gets swallowed. If the Pats get the lead, Parker will have a higher ypc w/ fewer carries and don't get excited about the screen pass last week. RBs are very underutilized in the Pitt passing game.
