Romo, Farve Owners (1 Viewer)

Drafted Hasselbeck just for this situation (I have Romo).

STL Def doesn't as iffy as I thought it would though.

I am considering dropping Favre in favor of Sanchez or Bradford. Favre has been brutal to date and I am worried that it doesn't get much better soon. I have another QB for this week.

Me too. I'll go into the season with 1 TE , 1 Def, 1 PK but always 2 QBs.

Ever since I lost Norm Van Brocklin in '53 to knock me outta the playoffs I've followed this simple rule. You should too.

RIP Norm.

I have Favre in a 16-team IDP dynasty league along with Matt Cassell. I entered the season without a QB for week 4 but was able to sign Shaun Hill after Stafford got hurt. No other starting QBs available...

I drafted Hasselbeck to play this week only...now I am considering picking up Bradford instead. I am a Rams fan and with the way both teams have been playing it really is a coin flip. Seattle is horrible on the road...Rams have been playing better. Bradford seems a little more appealing.

I drafted Favre & Roethlisberger late. I just picked up Sam Bradford to play while Favre is on bye then has the Jets. Bradford has Seattle at home then at Detroit those two weeks.

Surprised nobody is considering Gradkowski... He is going up against the Texans secondary that has gotten absolutely torched the past three weeks.

I'm between Gradkowski, Henne and Bradford

I'm another one who drafted Alex Smith for this week (Romo). Have waiver claims in on Sanchez, Gradkowski and Anderson, in that order, no way can I roll with Smith.

Picked up Sanchez earlier in the week and just dropped Favre.

I don't care if I have to play Sanchez the rest of the year, I don't want to be faced with the choice of starting Favre again.

I HIGHLY underestimated how big Rice's absense would be. Favre has no one he trusts to go down field to. Percy is a great WR, but Rice stretches the field. And that's what Favre needs. BB sucks.

Bye Favre, hope you are still on waivers when Rice comes back, if not, it's been real....

Those of you rolling with Hasselbeck.. what are your other options?

I'm trying to decide between Hassleback and Henne. I was leaning towards Hassleback but Henne plays the pats and that's a pretty juicy matchup. I'll probably think about it for a couple of days before deciding.

Bought Romo at auction. Then got Ben cheap. Then noticed my problem with Romo's bye and Ben's suspension. To cover my Romo bye I then bought Stafford. Now I'm sitting here with 3 QB's and nobody for W4. Can't work a deal to save my ask. If I can't do something I will waive Stafford for Bradford, Sanchez or Gratkowski, then try to buy Stafford back in the first FAAB auction after the game.

I consoled myself with thoughts of trading Ben or Matt (or both) to fill holes later in the season. I don't have another player I'd want to waive for a replacement QB. (see my roster below) I guess I'm just going to have to kiss Stafford good bye and hope I can get him back. What a dilemma.

Rollin with the Dirty Sanchez. So far he's actually scored slightly more points than Romo in my league. He has a nice matchup with Buffalo, Santonio comes back, and Sanchez seems to have hit his stride. With Buffalo having no passing offense to speak of and the Jets having an elite run defense, seems like Sanchez should get tons of possessions to work with.

Now that the bye weeks are upon us who is the best waiver pick ups.Palmer, Orton, Sanchez or who
Chad Henne + Brandon Marshall are going to torture the Patriots rookie cb's. The Pat's defense is among the worst in the league. Last week they made Ryan Fitzpatrick look like Dan Marino.Last year Henne threw for something like 375 and two td's against the Pat's and their defense has gotten worse/younger since then.Henne is a sweet bye week fill in.

This sounds like my team. I'm in a Start-2 QB league with Favre and Bradford and going to try and drop Favre this week to pick up Sanchez. If I don't get Sanchez, I'll probably go with Gradkowski. I also underestimated how significant Rice's injury would be to Favre. Harvin just isn't ready to be a go-to WR right now and Berrian is worthless. Camarillo must be stinking up the joint in practice because I thought he would be a bigger help for them then he has been. But they're rolling out Greg Lewis and Hank Baskett ahead of him and that's downright ugly.

I don't have Romo or Favre, but I drafted Kolb and Ben, and have been playing QB musical chairs for the past few weeks. I think I qualify for this thread. I am deciding between Hasselbeck, Bradford, and Gradkowski. Sanchez is also there for the taking. Henne is rostered by another team. I think I'm going to play Bradford.

None of those guys are available in my league. The best options are Hill, Clausen, or Gradkowski (sp?). I have Hasselbeck as my back-up, since I was liking his StL matchup, but I am not comfortable with it.

+1 This

Aren't many QBs left in my 2 QB league. I drafted Rodgers, Romo, and Roethlisberger - clearly I didn't think through the bye week issues when doing that.

Anyway, Gradkowski and Bradford were both there as FAs. Rolling with Bruce. I already have SJax, and investing in both the running and passing games of the Rams doesn't seem like a recipe for success :lmao:

Romo owner who owns Stafford and Garrard. I picked up Garrard to start this week after the Bradford injury, the Jags have Indy at home, but Garrard has been underwhelming most of this year. However since I lost both Grant and Bush to injury I have little left in blind bidding $$ so I don't know if it's worth spending money on who's still out there:

Sanchez/Henne/Gradkowski - I like all 3 this week actually, but would I start any of them over Romo the rest of the way? (or a healthy Stafford?). That's the question I need to answer by Friday...

While I think this belongs in the AC Forum, I think among those it would be clear to pickup and play Orton who is to date a Top 5 BI don't agree with those who think you had to draft two quarterbacks - especially if you had a top QB with a late bye week - Rodgers, Rivers, Brees all with Week 10 vacations and no reason to burn that roster slot when there were/are so many RB and WR who needed to be evaluated/stashed or now addedBUT those who drafted a Romo, Brady or others with early byes or injury/performance concerns probably should have drafted a solid backup - although what looked good before the season (not Alex Smith) may have given way to a better free agent option

Have Romo, also drafted Stafford, then dropped after injury.

Going to go for Henne, Gradowski or Bradford, in that order.

:potkettle: I have both Orton & Bradford this week during Romo's bye but would rather have Henne. He's taken in my league but I agree Henne will be a great bye week QB this week.
