Romo or top TE (1 Viewer)

I am big on Romo's prospects this year think he's top 3 material. Having said that Romo is a popular pick and taking a QB early means you probably will have to pass on a elite TE (according to Dodd's strategy of only drafting one QB or TE in first six rounds).

In a PPR league would you rather take a stud "appropriately-valued" QB like Romo in the 3rd and pass on the TE til after the 6th? Or pass on Romo in 3rd go QBBC, load up RB/WR, and take a stud TE in the 5th?

I'd take Romo and take a TE later. TE is much deeper than QB this year.

drafted yesterday, took Romo towards end of the 3rd & got Finley near end of the 5th - im happy with how it played out.

could of had Gates (someone jumped on Clark EARLY!) & Flacco if i had flopped rounds (TE then QB).

what worries me the most about Romo is his O-line...Oakland beat them up , sacking the Cowboys' QB's 6 times ....

Vikings crushed them in '09 postseason, sacking Romo 6 times in that game as well...

and this just in:

quote from NFL.com website:

Another problem from Sunday's workout was that right tackle Marc Colombo hurt his right knee. He left the field on a cart and was taken for an MRI exam. Colombo missed the last seven games of last regular season with injuries to his left leg, then returned for the playoffs.

not sure how bad the knee is hurt but the Cowboys' line needs to improve or Romo will get mauled by opposing defenses..
