Romo's ranking this week by FBG (1 Viewer)

Really? Granted, NY's passing defense sucks, but THIS high? Care to elaborate?
I've seen three rankings, one the same as FBGs and two within 2 spots of them. This does not seem to be out of the realm of expectations.Keep in mind, in addition to the tasty matchup with NY for Romo, Palmer has a tough matchup against BAL, they're expecting NO to run more to keep IND off the field, etc. so it's as much about some others moving down as it is Romo moving up.

Right, the only way I could see justifying his particularly high ranking this week is based on the relatively tougher matchups the cream of the crop QBs have Week 1. Is that how most everyone else sees it?

Romo ranked 6th in FP/G last year. Vick is gone, Palmer has a very tough matchup, Brees has a tough matchup, and McNabb has some question marks about him. I'd probably still put McNabb 2nd, but ranking Romo in the top 3 seems reasonable.FWIW I have the Giants as the 10th best opposing defense for a QB to face.

I noticed that too and it has me thinking a lot. I drafted Romo as insurance to McNabb, and my plan was to roll with McNabb until he showed me he couldn't do it, but this weeks FBG ranking of Romo got me really thinking.

As of now I'm standing pat with McNabb. But we will see come kickoff.....

Also, McNabb is ranked very low this week by FBG.
