Ronnie Brown (1 Viewer)

Now on pace for 890 yards rushing this season. I thought he was already at his floor numbers 2 weeks ago?
Doubt anyone expected much this week in Foxboro. RB did score only the 2nd rushing TD against NE this year. The Jets and Packers await....and if RB doesn't score well against them, it's then time to worry.

In a standard performance league with no points for receptions, then you can't be happy with Ronnie Brown's production. I drafted him with the 6 pick and was pumped to get him with that pick. Big expectations with that offense and Saban, but it clearly not going happening right now. Although i think that they are as low as they can get and it can only get better(How much is the question?)

I still think(hopinng)that he will end up with 10 tds and 1100 yards rushing which isn't too shabby considering some of the first round RB busts that we had in the past two years. Kevin Jones, Barlow, Green, Mcgahhee, etc

Fantasy aside----Ronnie Brown is a beast of a back who can do it all. Dante can't read defenses and holds the ball too long. The offense line is not playing very well and it has been an uphill battle for Ronnie, but he has some serious skills and is fun too watch.

Good news: Harrington looks like he can actually run a competent offense

Bad news: No passes to Ronnie Brown all game. :loco:

Bottom line:

Actually, Brown was targeted a couple of times. He dropped atleast one, and caught a screen pass and was quickly smothered.

As a Brown owner, I'd atleast like to see him have one play where he has an oppuntunity to get past the line of scrimage and take on LB's. It seems every running play he is hit in the backfield or at the line.

so let me get this straight:it wasn't time to be worried when he ran only 15 times against houston and only 12 times against Tennessee, but, if he doesn't run well vs. the Packers and the Jets, then its time to worry?

I'm not buying it. he's a bust..he looks like a slightly faster version of Keith Byars..yawn..

now I know why he's never been the featured back , anywhere, ever..

I'm a disgruntled Brown owner who's frantically trying to trade the dude to get something/anything in return for him..

it doesn't help that his OC, Mike Mularkey, is lousy at play calling..he ruined McGahee in 2005, now he's doing the same to Brown 2006.

Miami figures to play one of the toughest schedules the remainder of the season, so I don't see any relief coming soon..

For me...Correct. I'm not putting as much into earlier games with a QB playing terribly, a new OC, and a team that started slow last year.

 Gray's SOS has RB with one of the 8 easiest schedules for weeks 12-16 and for the next 3 weeks.
