Ronnie Brown (1 Viewer)

He was looking great before he got hurt, but is the injury something to be concerned about? Is this his MO like Formerly Fragile Fred?

Is he a shark target to try and trade for now or is he an injury prone player on a pathetic team that will bring only future frustration?

Any thoughts?

Having absolutely **NO** basis for this, I'd bet he starts next year on the PUP and is ready by week 7. The injury was too late in this season for a full recovery by the start of next, but I think he comes back fine. He might start on the active roster but be out for the first couple of weeks if rehab goes well.

FYI, I tried a buy low with a 2008 first and prospect player ( Norwood/DeAngelo ) and got denied in both my dynasty leagues.

I am on the fence with this. FWIW for reference (I know no one cares about my roster, just giving a scenario that happened):

I traded Ronnie for a 2008 1st rounder (likely the #4 or 5 pick) and Brian Leonard (Jackson owner). I did it as I am competing for the title and needed a "live body" there.

Point being, I think the Brown owner in your league MIGHT have a price for him, but do not overpay for him.

That's what I was asking for him (a usable player not prospect, like an older WR) and got no offers at all. I'm expecting much the same from him as you are. PUP or inactive for the 1st month, and 75-85% for '08 with return to form in '09. Our trade deadline has passed, and I needed something usable for the championship run so I will probably just hang on to him for the next couple years instead of giving in to some buy-low offer in the offseason.

Did he already have the Surgery?
Ronnie Brown-RB- Dolphins Nov. 1 - 7:34 pm et Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown and S Renaldo Hill both underwent surgery to repair their torn ACLs on Thursday. It's a good sign for Brown that he got his surgery out of the way early. Doctors often have to wait weeks before performing ACL procedures due to swelling in the knee. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgeries. Both players have already been placed on injured reserve, ending their seasons.Source: miamidolphins.com Related: Renaldo Hill
