Ronnie Brown (1 Viewer)

Mr. Brownstone

Footballguy
Ronnie Brown has some rather pedestrian numbers thus far. Through 3 games he has 199 yards rushing and a touchdown to go along with 22 yards receiving. Outside of a 51 yard gallop, he has been pretty underwhelming. Add to that, Ricky Williams is once again taking some carries. Has his time has come and gone or do you see a possible increase in production?

He has looked good when he has had room to run, but they have played two of the best run defenses in the league so far, and Miami's schedule looks like a nightmare for the next month plus. I think he can still put up decent RB3 numbers, but that is about it.

Here you go:

4 - v Patriots

5 - BYE

6 - at Packers

7 - v Steelers

8 - at Bengals

9 - at Ravens

10 - v Titans

11 - v Bears

Call me in week 12.

I agree his value is at a great low point right now...but I want no part of that mess.

it's at a low point likely to get lower.

One thing in Brown's favor is that Ricky has been putting the ball on the ground of late, and also doesn't seem to be as explosive as he was last year. Perhaps the heavy workload down the stretch is catching up to Ricky, and as we all know, he's no spring chicken.

While it will likely remain a time share, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brown become the more dominant part of the RBBC.

Followed with:12 - at Oakland13 - vs Browns14 - at Jets15 - vs Bills16 - vs LionsOnly the Jets are a concern. The rest is gravy.

as already pointed out Miami schedule is brutal until the Fantasy playoffs...

He is defitnetly someone I have targeted , and to some extent Rickey Williams, because of this cake schedule.

Right now I have Brown as my RB3/RB4 in one league ..he is worht holding onto for his playoff matchups alone.

He is healthy , looks good running, and should get me carries with RWs poor play and fumbling...

He is a "Buy" for sure if you are not depending on him for a few weeks.

I actually think the opposite is true, that Brown is a SELL HIGH candidate..

tough schedule + injury-prone body = sell high.

this.

love the FF playoff schedule. but he has to make it there first. if anything i'll buy three weeks out and he's still healthy. doubt his value will be any higher than it is right now..

I like Ronnie Brown, he seems to make something out of the limited touches he gets. Plus he has a history of running all over NE. I think I'm going to start him over Ryan Mathews this week.

Based on his health history that looks more like Ricky's schedule.

Here's the interesting part. Here are his 1st 3 opponents, his rushing average against them, and the average the rest of the league had against those teams:Bills ------ 5.00 ---- 4.07Vikes ---- 6.15 ---- 3.03Jets ------ 4.91 ---- 1.96Here are the averages of the teams you listed:4 - v Patriots --- 4.45 - BYE6 - at Packers -- 5.07 - v Steelers -- 2.68 - at Bengals -- 4.59 - at Ravens -- 4.710 - v Titans --- 4.411 - v Bears --- 2.1The names sound tough but their performances so far have mostly been below average.

Now there is a good post. Ronnie Brown will always have some injury concerns but I would nab him if you can. The schedule is not too daunting and I think this is the year Ricky rins out of steam.

Sounds like the sweet spot is after the Bears, or maybe to get him really low after the Titans as the owner will be cringing at the thought of that matchup.

He's been sitting on my bench almost all season. I can't imagine he's worth much to anyone. I just dropped him for Tamme because I need a TE for week 8. After this weekend, when I free up room from this weekends bye week replacements, if he's still available, I might re-add him and let him sit on my bench again......and hope Ricky Williams fails a drug test or gets banged up.

frustrated ronnie brown owner....but he has a tremendous playoff schedule (wk 13: cleveland @ home, wk 14: @ NYJ (tough), wk 15: buffalo @ home, wk 16: detroit @ home, wk 17: @ NE (tough)....

perhaps patience will pay off with ronnie?

FYI..... i was offered felix jones for ronnie brown....

I'd be all over Felix for ronnie. He is starting for me against the Pittsburgh bc of byes and hamstrings and toe injuries.
