is it not time to put these to bed ?
why would you put these to bed? They can generate good discussion and it's not like there are a million things going on this off season
Because all of these lists will go straight in the crapper as soon as the NFL drafts and we see where guys land. A 2nd or third round RB on one of these polls that winds up in Cleveland or Pittsburgh will move up a lot higher...

My draft is next week. Prior to the NFL draft.

And it is nice to see current opinion. Thanks for your side of the story.

I say we only rank them after the season. There's no way to know how good these guy are until AFTER they show us.

??

If you can't see the usefulness of these, then stay away. I prefer to have a list of players based on perceived talent before situation clouds our judgement. While there is a time and place to use situation , it should only be a small part of the process. At this point any information is useful, why are there so many rankings across the web if none of it matters? Why are you even here if no information is useful?

he just likes complaining and hating on people. #seeleshoureweedthread

Criner. Have read some great stuff about him. in PPR I could see him going much higher.

And forget 24. I want 36. This is a deep draft.

That makes sense then. What I'm commenting on is the poll we see before the college season ends, then during bowl season, then before the combine, then after the combine but before the draft, then after the draft. Each one changes drastically, negating the prior ones. But yes, if your draft is before the NFL draft, I can see some value.

Did you really get that upset about a discussion of the effect of marijuana on an anonymous message board, a football board at that? Talk about complaining. And before you say you aren't upset, you actually went to another thread to whine about it. Calm down and don't take it so seriously. It's early April and we're on a fantasy football site. There's not much to talk about. We get it. You like the wacky weed. Go for it. Nobody's stopping you...

I agree. I think this is one of those years where people will really strike some good value in the late 2nd and early third of drafts, even in really large leagues.
