A RB can't score fantasy points if he's not on the field. In this thread, let's focus on those other skills that keep a RB on the field (or put him on the bench, if he's missing them). Especially for the 9 rookie RBs who were drafted in the first 4 rounds (Richardson, Martin, Wilson, Pead, James, Hillman, Pierce, Miller, Turbin):
Which backs can pass block well, and have decent enough hands, so that they could stay on the field in passing situations?
Which backs have fumbling problems that could cost them playing time?
Which backs can run effectively inside, especially in short-yardage situations (like the goal line)?
From what I've heard, Richardson and Martin are strong all-around backs and can do it all. Wilson has a fumbling problem - does anyone else? Pierce and Miller didn't catch many passes in college - do they have stone hands or was that just scheme? At a glance, Pead, James, and Hillman look like similar undersized change-of-pace backs; does any of them have these other skills that could help them win a larger role?
I'd like to know about the skills of all 9 RBs in all 3 areas, instead of just having these bits and pieces of information.
