Rookies of the Year (1 Viewer)

Statiscly speaking the winner has to be Cadillac, he has played in less games than Brown and has more yards is getting more carries and has more touchdowns.  He was down because of injury for a bit, but when he has played he has been really good, he even toughed it out for a while when he wasn't 100%.
defensive players can't win?
ha, you are the best.there are 2 awards 1 for offense and 1 for defense.

Caddy is the only correct answer here.
way to contribute to the debate."Beat up" anyone that says a player from a former or present Bucs rival.

How many rookie of the month awards does Caddy have? How many does Gado have?

Were you a Shaun King fan? Maybe if you thought of that when you commented on Orton you wouldn't be beating people up about liking Orton.
Hey, I provided the stats earlier. Either you can accept them, or you're blind. Caddy has had the better season than Gado. Not sure how you can debate that.

And no, I didn't care much for King.

is NOT a rookie of the year winner, heck if you didn't know whom I was talking about you might say those are stats by a RB who might lose his job. They're pitiful.

good humor here.

Gado now has 537 yards & 6TDs.
Caddy is closing in on a grand, has 5 TDs and is on a first-place team.Still no idea what your argument is here.
I didnt know we had to be arguing.Gado should be considered for ROY.

3 more games & Gado could close the gap.

Anyone can look at the stats pick the guy w/ the most yards and say, "hey, yeah, he should win"

It takes foresight to say "hey guys look over there and look who's closing in."

Thank God Cadillac is finishing strong so we may see a legitimate Offensive Rookie of the Year winner. Orton winning the award would be a joke. The Bears are where they are in spite of him, not because of him in any way. Williams at least is making a strong impact on his team's success. Right now, Cadillac has to win the award but Gado is making a strong push to finish second. Nobody else should be close. Ronnie Brown isn't doing much and has been outplayed by Ricky many weeks of late. It should be a two-horse race between Williams and Gado with Williams the clear front-runner in my opinion.

Well, it appears Lofa Tatupu is all but shoring up DROY. He played a decent game with an INT, fumble recovery and a Sack, while his best competition in Thurman was benched for the game because he missed a team meeting.LOFA FOR DROY!!!

Thanks, I was wondering why our defense seemed like it was lacking a huge play-making badass yesterday. So does Thurman get any credit for playing in a real division?

So does Lofa get any credit for actually being the leader on defense by calling the plays and making all the adjustments at the line. Thurman doesn't do that for the Bengals.

I don't think it's a contest. Caddy is on the verge of 1K yards, averaging over 4 YPC, and, as you say, his success has proven to be highly correlated to the team's success.Gado is doing well, but unless he has a monster three weeks, he won't come close IMO.

Yes, that's what Middle Linebackers do in the NFL.
Thurman doesn't do that for the Bengals.
I'd be really curious to hear how you could possibly know this.

And as for weak divisions, having Cleveland and Baltimore in the same division isn't like stacking up against grave competition!!

LOFA FOR DROY!!!
Would've had another fumble recovery for possible a TD if not for a very poor whistle on an obvious fumble.I know I'm a homer, but Lofa is in on every damn play it seems. Give him the award!!!

Simmons does it for the Bengals.
Defensively, rookie middle linebacker Odell Thurman thinks his play has received a boost since the coaches gave his job of calling signals to the outside backers, Brian Simmons and Landon Johnson.
Simmons has been a MLB for the past few seasons before Thurman joined the team so its not like Simmons can't do it.Because Lofa actually does it means he has alot more responsibility than Thurman and as such, would give Lofa an added edge.
