Two years ago, someone dropped Gates in my league. I already had Shockey, so didn't want him. However, I was offering a 2-for-1 trade to someone, and included their scrub TE to balance the trade out. Yahoo told me I couldn't submit that offer, since one of his players was involved in a waiver claim. Well, Gates was the only player on the wire, so I knew he was going for him.
My league hasn't drafted yet, so I can't test this out - but does anyone know if Yahoo has fixed this, or is this still possible to do?
