ROS - S. ware or B. Powell or D. Williams - WHIR (1 Viewer)

I picked up Spencer Ware, but in the same waiver run Bilal Powell and Deangelo Williams were both dropped so they are available.

Some of my thoughts
Most help this week - either Spencer Ware or Bilal Powell - since my opponent this week needs RB help, I'd like to keep one of them off waivers until Saturday (he's the one who cut Deangelo Williams).
Biggest lottery ticket - Deangelo Williams > Bilal Powell > Spencer Ware

My other RB's are David Johnson, Melvin Gordon and Christine Michael.  I also have Dion Lewis on IR, so I probably need to make room for him for week 7.  So good chance I will have to cut this guy next week unless he cashes in on his lottery value this week.

Thanks

I wouldn't be so sure Lewis is back in by week 7.  That being said here is my thoughts on the three you were inquiring about:

  • Ware - I think he has the most value if it's someone you need to be starting every week.  He will continue to get usage even with Charles back and I wouldn't be surprised to see an even split.  Plus if Charles does get re-injured you know he can carry the load and put up good points for you.
  • DeAngelo - He is the guy I would want if I am looking for the biggest lottery ticket.  If Bell gets hurt again he could win you the league.  If Bell stays healthy you will never play him.
  • Powell - He is somewhere between the two.  I think he has some spot start value but nothing real unless Forte goes down.  He also has a history of getting injured so there is that consideration.

I'm not counting on Lewis being available in week 7, but once the designation changes from "O for Out" to "Q for Questionable" I can't make any roster moves until he is out of my IR spot.  So I'd have to do something, and then if it turns out later in the week or at game time that he is Out, I can move him back to the IR spot and then make another move.

I am thinking along the same lines as you.  For this week, I think Ware has the most value - that's why I won't move him until Saturday at the earliest, so my opponent this week can't pick him up.  Then the next decision is, assuming Powell and Williams are still there on Saturday, do I make the move then.

Thanks for the response.
