Round 2 (1 Viewer)

maybe I'm too high on Clausen but if Favre were to get injured I'd much rather see Clausen, even as a rookie, start over TJ or whomever they have now.
I'm thinking this as well FUBAR. I don't see how the Viks can pass on either him or McCoy. Unless they think someone like Pike can manage things should Favre go down, and then draft a Franchise QB next year? or 2012 when favre has been gone a year and they are at the top of the draft again?

I know that the Vikings have shown some interest in Cook but I rather have them take Saffold. Just going on Gosselin comments that after top 5 CBs their was a drop down to the next tier.

I think Saffold projects more as a RT(not the most athletic player). Would you rather have that for the Vikings or add in a Campbell/Charles Brown to replace the disappointing McKinnie eventually?

I dont see Claussen lasting to the 50th pick. Theres just to many places a QB needy team can jump in and take him. If the Chiefs take him it will be with the first pick. Ugh, I'm going to need lots of beer for tonight. Hopefully all the Claussen to Chiefs is a smokescreen for us to move back. We shall see
I think I heard that the 49ers have said that if Clausen is still available with their pick that they will take him.

Bills need an OT, the Rams need a RB and the Bills can take Clausen. I think it makes sense for both.
I think the Rams need to keep whatever OL they have if they want Bradford's shoulder to stay intact. They could wait and take a RB start of round 3(gerhart/dwyer/hardesty) if they want to give Sjax some help.
There are 3 guys left on the board I like better than Barron. The Rams are shopping him.

Saffold has the versatility to play guard as well as tackle. He could start him at guard and kick him outside to tackle when McKinnie gets injured or suspended (He can't seem to aviod off the field troubles) . Maybe Loadholt will be the tackle to eventually replace McKinnie at LT.

No. The issue wasn't the content. You stated the trade like it just happened and without quoting a source. It wasn't obvious that this was a guess/prediction on your part. I'm not a big "false start" Barron fan, but don't think the rams have the luxury of creating another hole in the O-line. Peopoe are sying that they are shopping him though.

Really hoping Utah OLB Misi falls to 49ers. Banks has him falling all the way to the Jets, but local Niners writer Maiocco says he's hearing Misi will be snatched by NE, Den, or KC before he gets to SF.

I think the vikings should stay put and take Terrance Cody. Or they could take Cook, that CB. Either guy could play a role and help this year.
