Rudy vs Kenny (1 Viewer)

Looking at the stats, Rudy 22-46 and Kenny 9-24 plus a couple of catches it seems like RBBC going down the stretch. Does anyone in Cinci have any input on how they feel the split will be from here on in.

Did Rudy seem like the guy or can Kenny take the starting gig away from him?

When one RB gets 71% of the carries I'm not sure how that can be defined as RBBC. The Bengals clearly used Rudi as their featured RB against the Ravens. Not surprisingly, he didn't fare well against Baltimore's strong run defense. Watson looked bad as well. If yesterday's game is any indication, Lewis is firmly in Rudi's corner as his starting RB with Watson being used as a third-down RB and to keep Rudi fresh. The good news for Rudi owners is the schedule gets much better so if he continues to get 20+ carries a game or 70% of the total RB carries his production should improve down the stretch.

Totally agree with everything said. Neither back was good but I saw enough to drop Watson.

Rudi getting all the carries is actually good news for Palmer owners because it will guarantee that the Bengals have to rely on the pass. Watson has looked like the better back since Rudi has come back but it does look like Rudi is Marvin's guy...

now rudi has been back 2 games and neither one of them has rushed for much, now watson had a pretty good day catching the ball against the bills. i own both i just want one to get the majority of the carries, so i can have a little confidence with the start. been trying to work my way around starting either.

I don't think Watson has looked good at all the last two games when Rudi has played. Rudi hasn't looked good either. I'd say neither RB has distinguished himself the last two weeks. The one thing that's been clear is Rudi remains the lead ballcarrier. Whether that changes remains to be seen but nothing happened against the Ravens to suggest Rudi's role is diminishing. That he got 71% of the carries is a pretty strong statement in his favor in my opinion.
