Rule changes- prior to draft (1 Viewer)

We have 3 rule propsals on the table, and our commish is entertaining these chnages 1 hour prior to draft:

1) Changing QB points from 1-50 to 1-40

2) Chnaging RB from 1-20 to 1-15 because PPR makes WR more valuable.

3) Adding TE to flex option.

Am I nuts for complaining and thinking while the changes might be valid ideas, you don't do this 1 hour prior to drafting?

I think it's completely legit, provided it's for next season.

I think it's completely legit, provided it's for next season.

We always have a rules meeting just before the draft to set the rules for next year.

In the league that I have played in 18 years any rule changes are put out there about a month before the season for a vote. I have been in other leagues that have changed rules at the draft and supposedly that will happen in another league this year. I will be raising a huge amount of #####ing if this happens.

No, The Commish is nuts. You cant change the rules for this seaon with that little time.At our Banquet at the end of the year we vote on any rule changes for the next year. 1hr before draft is not the way to do it.

No you are not nuts.

We vote on rules changes at our March awards meeting. Any rule change discussions at the draft will be put up for vote next March.

Any commish that thinks it's Ok to change the rules 1-hour prior to the draft should not be a commissioner. If rule changes pass (for this year,) I'd be looking for a new league.
