1) it was written on Monday MARCH 29 and NO ONE else has mentioned it all since,

2) It says "some executives" - no attribution or real people involved here

3) It also says these executives "THINK" he could be available......Jerruh thinks the Cowboys are playing in the Super Bowl in his Taj Mahal - doesn't mean it will happen

While the Lions have a fairly stable group of RBs all of sudden, Barber would certainly provide a physical presence that the offense might be lacking. Just some food for thought.

Does anyone really believe Jones would put this season's fate in the hands of Felix Jones who can't seem to stay healthy? I like Choice, but if Jones were to go down there's no way he's carrying a full load.

ETA: I'm gonna say it. This is a ploy to motivate Marion Barber.
