Dropped Ward (have Foster) to get him. Don't see any harm at all in taking a shot.
He literally cost me a season last year, but I'll still take a bite in the hopes that he can pay me back a little.I got burnt by this guy last year. I don't want anything to do with Moss on my team.
I dropped D. Moore for a flyer on Moss. I was probably going to have to cut Moore eventually for skip week help anyway.should I take a flyer and drop Demarco Murray, Denarius Moore or Antonio Brown for Moss?
Roy Williams would certainly drop you (and every pass thrown his way).Would you drop Roy Williams to take a shot on Moss?
Good Stuff. I'll take that as a yes. I think I'll take a shot with Moss. At worse I'll have to make a move in 3 or 4 weeks if he doesn't sign.Roy Williams would certainly drop you (and every pass thrown his way).Would you drop Roy Williams to take a shot on Moss?
Oldest. If Moss comes back to the Pats. Where do you rank him as far as Pats wide outs?
why was moss phased out of the NE game plan. it's no secret that moss LOVES the patriots and Kraft and Brady and all....he played terribly for MIN and TEN due to his pissy attitude about being released and then playing for crappy teams with crappy qbs. if NE brings back moss, is he just coming back to be a decoy again. is this a move more reflective on Ocho? last round flyer...no risk except the laughs and humiliation from your league mates when you announce his name...Moss didn't play poorly in NE. He played poorly after that for sure. He was pretty much phased out of the NE game plan while he was there but he didn't play that badly at all.Didn't this same rumor come up earlier in the summer? And WHY do people think that Moss who played so poorly in Tennessee and New England before he was cut will suddenly become the player he used to be - he can't turn back the clock people

Would like to know where he thinks he would fit in with the rest of the WR's on the roster.Moss scored 3 TDs in essentially 3 games with NE last year. He did "play" in the Mia game but I really don't think NE targeted him even once that game. It was almost as if in between week 3 and 4 Moss did something monumentally bad to BB or Craft and they simply sent a message. I'll repeat, Moss didn't play poorly until he left NE. To be honest I really don't think he played all that poorly in Min either. Learning that playbook in 3 days wasn't something that was really going to happen. He played like total crap in Tenn.why was moss phased out of the NE game plan. it's no secret that moss LOVES the patriots and Kraft and Brady and all....he played terribly for MIN and TEN due to his pissy attitude about being released and then playing for crappy teams with crappy qbs. if NE brings back moss, is he just coming back to be a decoy again. is this a move more reflective on Ocho? last round flyer...no risk except the laughs and humiliation from your league mates when you announce his name...Moss didn't play poorly in NE. He had 3 TD's but 9 catches for 139 yards in his three NE games (that he actually played) is pedestrian.Moss didn't play poorly in NE. He played poorly after that for sure. Waa.I got burnt by this guy last year. I don't want anything to do with Moss on my team.
Let's say this happens and Moss produces. Do we accuse Moss of being in cahoots with BB & Kraft? Would anyone ever do a trade with the Pats again?

+1 for working in "cahoots". Well done.Let's say this happens and Moss produces. Do we accuse Moss of being in cahoots with BB & Kraft? Would anyone ever do a trade with the Pats again?
It's always been an option that Moss could come back. I asked a couple of people and they said it's possible but they don't see it happening. If Moss were to come back, why would anyone expect the 2007 Moss when we saw what his role in 2010 was? I would expect more of the same. Lots of time on the field, not a lot of production. He was on pace for 40 receptions and 500 receiving yards last year before he got traded.IMO, Moss coming back would dilute the fantasy value of others by having to carve out whatever production Moss would get. At this point, I don't see any Pats WR option as being a great fantasy option. I am even starting to lose hopes of Welker having a big year as they will be spreading the ball around a lot this year.paging yudkin to the red, white and blue courtesy phone...Would like to know where he thinks he would fit in with the rest of the WR's on the roster.

Or trade him before then to some sucker who's stuck on a name.'Sir Chadwick said:Sweet the decoy may come back. No thanks... if you pick him up at least let him ride the bench a minimum of 3 weeks and see how he's used. We all know Bellichick won't tell.
I was joking about actual collusion (apparently that was not obvious to all), but did I accidently drop a pun in there too?'Tackling Dummies said:+1 for working in "cahoots". Probably for D.Gronkowski - not a precursor to Moss, IMO.Darius Butler just tweeted "It's been real" in New England, sounds like he's getting cut. Does this open up a new roster spot or is he replaced by Dan Gronkowski?
Wow, that's crazy. I have Foster in one league and I have Tate and Ward and there is no way in hell I would drop either for a flyer on Moss. Are your WRs that bad that you might actually start Moss? If Foster misses a week here or there, Ward is far more valuable.Dropped Ward (have Foster) to get him. Don't see any harm at all in taking a shot.
Just trying to stay ahead of the curve...i dropped A.Brown wr # 4 from the steelers ...if moss doesnt sign i drop him and grab someone else...if he does sign and plays like he wants a SB ring and knows this is his last chance to get one then this works out pretty good....its a win / winGeez .... enough already. Moss has nothing left. Nothing. He can't create any seperation anymore. You go ahead and pick him up. Let's see how that works out for you.Friend of mine who works at Gilette in foxboro text me that he heard around work that Randy Moss could be signed by wed sept 7th...just a rumor...but i just dropped a bench player and grabbed moss just in case he is right...if not oh well , no biggie![]()
They'll sign Moss and then cut him, just to send a message.is this after they drop Haynesworth and Ocho?
@ people who think he's fantasy relevant.Pretty bold statement, if he gets picked up by the Pats he is better than any WR 3 out there.@ people who think he's fantasy relevant.
I guess people forgot how he looked last year........with the Pats even. He doesn't have the will to play for anything but a paycheck. That wont get you far.Pretty bold statement, if he gets picked up by the Pats he is better than any WR 3 out there.@ people who think he's fantasy relevant.
let us know what other moves you makeIn the one league where Waivers are open, I dropped David Nelson for Randy Moss. Nelson was about my WR7 or WR8 anyway...
I remember when people said the same stuff when he was with the Raiders as far as the fantasy relevant post. He might not be but short sighted to immediately dismiss a guy that has been known to disappear completely then turn it on to post good numbers.I guess people forgot how he loomed last year........with the Pats even. then why would he go on record saying he WANTS to play for the pats or nobody at all??? why bother if hes going to just sign and then go thru the motions ??? what would his motivation be ?? I think he wants to make amends and play like he knows he can...in my opinion .I guess people forgot how he looked last year........with the Pats even. And you are definitely entitled to your opinion. But I haven't heard anything about him saying he would only play for the Pats. well i didnt quote him...but he hasnt mentioned playing for any other teams other than the pats...Between his three stops, Moss had just 28 catches for 393 yards with five touchdowns. Naturally, the 34-year-old believes he can still play and help a team.Above all, he’d like that team to be the Patriots.“I think that just the success as a wide receiver and everything that the New England Patriots [team stats] stand for, you know, I’m a big fan of Bill Belichick’s,” Moss told former Vikings teammate Erin Henderson, who hosted the show. “I really am, and not just on the field. I’m a fan of his off the field because, you know, the little grouchy man that you see on-camera is not what you see off-camera.”http://mymaddenpad.com/2011/03/17/randy-moss-wants-to-play-for-patriots-again/And you are definitely entitled to your opinion. I could see that if you were a real coach but in fantasy football who cares and the risk is very low. I usually hate punk pro athletes but for whatever reason Moss has never bothered me too much.Someone who plays when they feel like it......not someone I want on my team.I remember when people said the same stuff when he was with the Raiders as far as the fantasy relevant post. Same exact thinking with me. I dropped Curtis Painter in my dynasty league for him. There are few things scarier than a motivated Randy Moss. Some other considerations with Moss include his deep love for Bob Kraft. When Myra Kraft passed away this offseason Moss visited and signed his sympathy card Randy Moss Kraft. It almost seems like they would be the only landing spot for him. It seems almost like he still considers himself a Patriot.Just trying to stay ahead of the curve...i dropped A.Brown wr # 4 from the steelers ...if moss doesnt sign i drop him and grab someone else...if he does sign and plays like he wants a SB ring and knows this is his last chance to get one then this works out pretty good....its a win / winGeez .... enough already. I did the same thing. You definitely have to have the bench to do it. We carry 9 bench players so plenty of room. I dropped Darnario alexander. I'm fairly confident I can get him again if need be.
