not a name on this list that surprises me.
Which kind of leads me to think the list is not accurate. It's almost a who's who list of people who had a few standout seasons before dropping off significantly, players whose careers took a sharp downturn around the time stricter steriod testing was implemented, or people who have battled constant injuries. It almost seems like a speculated list based solely on performance and injury history. I imagine an authentic list would come with a few surprises. Who knows though.

No Albert?
You seem surprised.Pujols isn't juicing. He's said in the past that you can test him any day, any time.
Sorry...I'm skeptical. ETA: Would be great if true though.
While you can never be 100% sure on anyone, Albert's having his best power year ever while most of the others on that list are breaking down (or already broke down).
True...is he still the same size he was a few years ago?

He's been about the same size since he started in 2003.

Way too many recognizable names and not nearly enough scrubs. Plus, if Bonds were actually on the list, the government wouldnt be having nearly as much trouble making its case.

This might have been why Fehr quit. Having this released if the info is true, is embarrassing to the union. Pedro and Alomar on there is a big "ouch." Craig Monroe but no Pudge?

If true, the Cubs were passing around the needle in the clubhouse. Looks like half the team was juicing. And it would makes sense that D Lee was really the only one to talk about Sosa and steroids.

Jeromy Burnitz is listed twice.
He must've used a lot.Seriously though, they appear to be listed by team. Burnitz played for both the Mets and Dodgers in 2003 and is listed with Mets names and Dodgers names.
I'm not sure about that. If that's the case Aaron Boone (Reds, Yankees) and Aramis Ramirez (Pirates, Cubs) should have also been listed twice for playing on multiple teams.

Speaking of Cubs, I'm kinda surprised Glenallen Hill isn't on the list.

This list is bunk.

Jeromy Burnitz is on the list twice by the way.

where did your friend get this list? I know it was an email, but...what was the originating source?

As for Pujols and anyone else not being on this rumored list, or the actual list when it does come out - this is just a list of players who were selfish enough to continue using when they knew the test was coming. They had ample notice to pause their usage so the number of positives across the league would come in under 5%, in which case random testing would then cease. I'm sure lots of guys actually temporarily cleaned up for the sake of the union. Doesn't mean they didn't use before, and then continue after the anonymous test.

The list seems reasonable to me. Shawn Green being on there surprised me a little. Like others have said, very surprised that Pujols isn't on there. That would be great news if he is/was not a user.

The list is clearly a fake. There are way too mnay big name players as a percentage of the list.

That being said, everybody takes steriods.

The Rangers on the "List" (A-Rod, Pudge, Raffy and Everett) are all givens. Nothing interesting at all in that. Give me some drama. Put Ramon Nivar, Doug Glanville or Laynce "Is That Blood?" Nix on the list. Then I start getting interested.
