Grant wasn't drafted and spent last year on the practice squad for the Giants. He was traded to the Packers this year and played in his 1st games as a pro as a Packer. Looking at the NFL.com pages a player like AP is listed as a rookie under experience, Grant's experience says 1st year. So for NFL purposes, rookie of the year, etc. would Grant be considered a rookie?

he was paid by an NFL team correct??had he sat out last year and been signed as a Free agent than I'd say rookie.. But in this case
