S Charlie Peprah GB (1 Viewer)

I just noticed Charlie Peprah will be getting a start this week at strong safety as Bigby and Rouse are likely out for week #5. The Pack seem to have alot of youth in their secondary so not sure if Peprah has any future but was curious to know more about him.

He's a third year safety out of Bama and was originally drafted in the 5th round by the Giants. He had decent stats in college but has played primarily special teams in the NFL.

Anyone know anything else about this guy?

Not really, outside of he played on that fine Bama defense with DeMeco Ryans, Mark Anderson and Roman Harper. He's probably nothing more than a backup/special team type. May have more upside if he was with a team that played alot of zone.

Rotoworld: The Packers will not activate Bigby (ankle) from the physically-unable-to-perform list, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports. Analysis: Bigby practiced all week, but he's still not 100 percent, so the Packers will keep him out at least one more week. When he gets back on the field, he has a chance to reclaim the starting strong safety role alongside Nick Collins.
