Bears run D has improved as the defense has gotten healthier. Bears pass D, not so much. If NO has a shot, its gonna be through the air. I think this could be a week to maybe sneak Shaheed into some lineups.
Saints run D is hit/miss. I doubt the Bears have the same success they had Monday. On the flip side, NO has greatly struggled against the pass, particularly with bigger WRs. DJ Moore isn't a guy I'm shying away from, but I think this could be a top-5 week for Odunze as long as the OL keeps Caleb clean.
This will be a good barometer on where Rattler is at. He is essentially a rookie with the amount of games started and has shown good improvement without a ton of help from his supporting cast. The Bears defense is playing better and I expect the Chicago offense to put up a good amount of points. Will Rattler continue his mistake free play and be able to keep up? I would be surprised if the Saints are able to go toe-to-toe, but am interested to see how Rattler responds. Gut is telling me Chicago wins by double digits.
You know what? I think I'm locked and loaded in my TE/RB flex with some Kendre Miller just so I can watch him maybe—maybe—put it so far up Dennis Allen's *** that Allen begins to **** TCU sticks.
Pretty much. There are rays of optimism that I didn't have during the 1-15 season, but this is a mediocre team that can't run the ball consistently or stop the other team from running the ball consistently. It's hard to get amped for a team that is regularly blown up on either side of the line.
BUT - they had every reason to give up and roll over this weekend and they kept fighting. They actually looked like a team when they went up-tempo.
