**Saints at Chargers** (-7, 41) 4:05 (1 Viewer)

Chargers play a very boring brand of football that I have not had time to sit down and discuss in detail with some Chargers fans I respect like @Gr00vus as an example

The point total feels a little high after watching several Chargers games the first part of the season, not happy with how they have neutered Justin Herbert
If the Chargers only need 200 yds passing a week then why pay Herbert all that money?
Trade him and go get another QB in the Draft for Harbaugh to mentor and make his game manager

I don't like this spread but I can see the Saints dropping No 6 in a row, when does the owner fire Dennis Allen?
18-23 w/Saints, 9-8 was his best record ever, career 26-51 and there aren't many coaches that would survive that
Dennis Allen is the Tim Boyle of head coaches right now

Chargers 24...Saints 16

Injury riddled Saints getting a little healthier, that's scary.
Home Team Chargers playing Harbaugh Ball, that's scary.
Not sure if The Visitors are yet healthy enough to win,but I think it'll be close.
So...

Scary Harbaugh's Boys- 26
Scary N'Awlins- 23

I nominate you for Chargers GM
They pay him an awful lot of money to not equip him with weapons and just take a slow approach when they clearly can hold teams on Defense
To lose 17-15 to Arizona last week showed a lot about Harbaugh's approach
I actually think Harbaugh would like to trade Herbert for the right compensation and reload the entire roster. he sent a lot of guys on their way on the off season

-I thought the Chargers would compete right away and I feel his conservative approach on offense is slowing them down right now
They lost by 10 to Justin fields in a 20-10 ball game and you have Herbert at QB? They lose 17-10 to KC, 17-15 to AZ, Harbaugh's offense is super conservative IMHO

They’re going to get on me for this, but you’d have to give me an awful lot if you wanted me to trade for Olave. Or you couldn’t ask for much.

One of the more overrated guys in the league, IMO. Matt Harmon would vehemently disagree with me, but I’m not sure about this guy.

Yeah, I was pleased to get him where I did. (Redraft) if I had it do over again I’d go in a different direction

Where’d you get him? I lived with him last year thinking he’d make a second-year leap to being a passable WR1. That was really, really stupid of me. I waited on WR in the league I’m talking about by going RB heavy, so I wound up with Olave. Of course, it was the FFA Genrepalooza Music League so I got to call my team Kiss Olave II (in homage to Kiss Alive II), but it wasn’t enough to finish any higher than getting bounced in the first round of the playoffs.

Why on earth Harbaugh wouldn’t put the ball in this kid’s hands is so far beyond me I can’t fathom it. I know he wants his stamp on everything, but you take gifts and don’t look that horse in the mouth when it’s a thoroughbred who might win you the Derby.

Olave isn’t the problem. Promote Kubiak and get a new QB in there.

2.7 one man keep 12 team

Explain to me again why Olave is a disappointment when 4th and 5th round nobodies can get the ball to him more effectively than Derek Carr.

Derek no dink and dunk.

In all seriousness, Matt Harmon insists that when you study the routes that Olave runs and has run that he's run the premier WR routes for NO. He claims it’s just circumstance that Olave hasn’t seen the ball. He’s stopped short of blaming Carr and Harmon isn’t afraid to say when he thinks coaches aren’t being innovative or QBs stink—or even when the WRs themselves are at fault.

Like I was reading Twitter/X today (damn, I’d quit the platform because it depressed the hell out of me, but if you want fantasy football insight in one place . . . ) and Harmon was saying that Marvin Harrison, Jr.’s problems were threefold. Coaching, quarterbacking, and Harrison himself being a rookie. So he’s not afraid to do that. But I don’t think (I could be wrong here) that he’s been too hard on Carr. I’ll look that up and try to find it.
