Both have great offenses. do we see a shootout?

personally i think this could get a little more defensive than we think.

will both teams come out throwing or grind it on the round? i can see the Falcons wanting to keep the ball away from brees.

will roddy get sealed up after talking smack to the Saints? Or does he brush that off and explode for anotyher big game.

do we see any players resting in a blowout. not that it will be a blowout, but if.

predictions? score?

This game is always a battle regardless if it is a high stakes match up or not. I think the Falcons game plan will be to throw the Saints pass rush off balance by pounding Turner and by trying to win the time of possession battle. In the pass defense the Saints will need to get creative in covering Gonzalas. I am hoping they put Malcom Jenkins on him. Likewise the key for the Saints is to limit Turner and force it on Matty Ice's shoulders and ofcoarse there is no better way to do this than to get an early lead and get the Falcons playing from behind. On offense the Saints need to avoid turnovers and accomplish a more balanced approach to the offense rather than just have Brees fling it all night. The Saints have been the most successful in the past when they have had a decent run compliment to take pressure off Drew.

This game wont be a shoot out but it will be in the mid 20's and once again the winner will do so by kicking a field goal maybe even in over time. Hope Hartley is ready.

On a side note there will be a whole lot of Who Dats in the Georgia Dome. I hear they are even going to start the Who Dat chant before the game.

Hopefully, Brees and Co. get up big, fast and Ryan has to throw it more than any other game this season. Ideally, White would go for 11-135 and 2 TDs too.

I'm with you Bad_Mo! And if the Saints have to eek out a win with 5 FG's from Hartley on top of the above... I'll be hoisting the Stooper Bowl trophy! :(

Saints with 3 TO's. 2 INTs 1 Fumble.

Roddy has a decent game, not expecting huge numbers. 5-80 with a possible TD.

Falcons 27-17.

I suspect the Falcons are going to try to limit the Saints possessions by pounding the rock with Turner. Have to think they saw what Ray Rice did to them last week.

This looks like a shootout to me. Should be entertaining to watch. I bet a FG decides it again, except this time Hartley makes it. NO 34-31.

I expected Bears/Jets to be a defensive game and both teams scored in the 30's. Wouldnt be surprised if we see a lower than average scoring game out of these two teams.. taking Falcons by a score of 20- 17

had hartley and decided to dump him because i get the feeling the falcons will try and control tempo/time of possession and pound pound pound. also hoping for a lower scoring game since i'm playing against bryant and white.

Interesting. I'm deciding between Hartley and Akers.

gonna be a nice night in philly tomorrow according to the forecast.as a side note i threw josh brown in there and got 12 points. nobody stalls inside the 30 like the rams :hifive:

I have a hunch the Saints are going to explode this week and run the Falcons out of the building. however...I think the Falcons are the better team and will go further in the playoffs.

Saints show why they're still the class of the NFC and beat them by 10.

In a few weeks, Saints will show that they're still the class of the NFC and that Atlanta is still a year or so away from having legitimate championship hopes.

Gonna double-dip Atlanta in their own home.

This is going to be a great game tonight... I'm cheering for the Saints only because if they win out.... Just to keep the playoff seeding questions alive and well!

It's nice to have an NFC South showcase in prime time finally. This match-up is never dull and I expect more of the same tonight.

I think the Saints will do a better job on Turner than they did on Rice last week, as they seemed to have overlooked Rice in the defensive gameplan.. possibly they expected to get a lead rather than play from behind all day. Which brings me to my key to every Saints game this year - get on the board early. If the offense starts hot, I love our chances. If they start slow, it'll be a dogfight and tiebreaker goes to the home team.

Falcons will expose the Saints tonight and show everyone that the Saints were one year wonders. Atlanta 24 Saints 10
The Saints are currently 10-4. I think they've already proven they aren't "one year wonders". Only Atlanta and Chicago have better records so far in the NFC.
