Saints vs Titans - Week 16 (1 Viewer)

Like he hit the guy in the head which directly caused the fumble. How is that not a penalty with all the bull#### they call now.

Man, a shoulder directly to the head as the guy is completing the catch and clearly put him out on his feet. Not sure why there was no penalty call there and not even any discussion of it by the announcers
Typical.  the Saints get another call by the refs.

Do the saints actually want to score or kneel here?

Only half kidding

The NFL needs to get rid of instant replay.  There is no freaking way they should have overturned that TD by Thomas.

That Titans fumble absolutely screwed me. Going against Brees and Thomas. That was about a 25 point swing.

Thought he was a defenseless player who got T'd up by the Saints' DB.

I like that Tanny went for it.

Did not expect this to be remotely close, so good on the offense.

Can't help but wonder what if Henry had played.

I don't get to see the Titans enough. They did some impressive things in this game. I like what they have put together on offense now.

They have talent.

I'll stay somewhat miffed that MM hasn't panned out, but a playoff game will help me get over it.

Very unlikely to beat the chiefs, but who knows?

That does seem to be the main difference. No Mariota.

I'm not sure exactly what happened to him but Tannehill at least gives their playmakers a chance.

Brown is impressive. Likely the best WR of the 2019 draft class.

Whole game....isn't Sharpe better than Davis?
Davis made some plays too.

I was more disappointed with what I saw from Jonnu.

Watching the Dallas game and they are talking about Antwaun Woods being out for them there. I recall you agonizing about him not playing enough for the Titans and the practice squad shenanigans.

I guess Woods became a staple of their defensive line but now is in trouble for wacky tobacco.

You'd be shocked to listen to our ref persecution complex from the other side. I couldn't watch today, had to follow on radio. I missed some drives here and there, including whatever one in which this headshot occured. However, during the time I was listening, the Saints broadcast crew basically made it sound like the Saints would've won 60-0 except that the refs consistently bailed out the Titans with phantom calls. Maybe the Saints crew was playing to the shell-shocked Saints fans, don't know.

Steeler fans think the Saints 2018 win over Pittsburgh was a ref screw job against the Steelers. They've got a case, but in today's NFL ... I'll take any win.
Not me.  I don't complain about officials affecting the outcome of games.  I made the comment because Saints fans seem to whine about officials a lot.  More or less a joke.

We do, gotta own that. It's really become part of the Saints fandom ... the referees are in our head from the opening kickoff.

A lot of us also have kind of a mini-drama inside of our heads that says that fans of all other 31 teams think NFL refereeing is perfect, and think the Saints players really did do the thing the ref called even in cases of egregious misses. We're still sulking as a fan base from the NOLA No-Call. Going to be a while before we 'get over it'.
