Salvation Army bell won't stop (1 Viewer)

Money talks.... get together with the neighbors and put a stop to this nuisance! (Everyone pitch in $20-$50-$100-$x,xxx,xxx and tell them to find a different corner.)
This is it.

And really, as a FBG, there's no need to involve the neighbors. Ask the bell ringer how much they expect to collect on this corner this season. Pull out the stacks and double that amount, and tell her to enjoy a few weeks off or go to another corner.

Ok here is your plan. Take a partner with you to distract the ringer and you sneak up and spray the inside of her bell with spray foam wall insulation. Voilà no more bell ringing.

You win and go get yourself a victory starbucks

You choose to live 75 feet from a ####### Starbucks and now you're surprised by this? Cool thread.
Wait, there's a place in America that isn't within 75 feet of a Starbucks?
Around here everywhere is within 75' of a Dunkin' Donuts.

DD is terrible, horrible coffee.

FC I get that it's annoying. No doubt. And absolutely nothing you can do. Sorry bud.

Go down to the corner with a bucket of ice water, dump it over your head, then drop $20 in the kettle

Really nothing you can do so I wouldnt waste too much time thinking about it, but I know for certain after about 3 weeks of it, I would be pretty annoyed too. That bell is kind of an obnoxious noise.

Why did you practically move into a strip mall and expect it to be quiet during business hours?
This is like the people moving out to a new development in the suburbs then getting pissed when deer eat their plants.

A Salvation Army bell ringer soliciting donations outside of an Arlington Walgreens was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when an 87-year-old man allegedly drove his Toyota Camry into the store’s facade.

Police say the driver may have mistaken the store’s awning and front door for a drive-through window.

The 50-year-old victim, a Boston man whose name has not been released, was pinned under the vehicle. A good Samaritan working at a nearby service station came to his rescue, however, using a floor jack to lift the car off of him.

Suffering from serious but not life-threatening injuries mostly to his right leg, the victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.

The driver, who is from Arlington, will be cited for operating to endanger, and an “immediate threat” notification has been filed with the RMV.

Luckily we were on vacation last week, but the neighbors mentioned she didn't stop.

Rain, snow, wind, cold - doesn't appear to bother this woman who just sings and rings her bell for 12 hours straight. Only a week until Christmas. The workers in Starbucks said they don't actually think she really works for The Salvation Army.

Check her charitable organization credentials.

Salvation Army bell ringers should sit in wheelchairs with bathrobes ringing a finger bell.
