I'd put a bit on McVeigh too though. SF was hot when he decided to run it up the gut three times in a row and punt it back. I was screaming at the screen on third down...PLAY ACTION!

I agree and was too, that 3rd and 8 was huge.  He was more concerned about the clock and forcing the TO use then thinking it through

9’ers line played well for sure, were applying a ton of pressure in the second half.  But the mistakes made today on D were uncharacteristic of the Rams this year.  That was the difference imo.

Fair. It was the best football game I’ve seen in a while. Would be cool to have a rematch in the playoffs. 

Someone on Twitter said if other games had worked out differently, the 1st round would have rematches TB/DAL, and AF/LAR.

That woulda been brutal.
