WITH THE NEW RULES, how in THE hell is Cousins not penalized on that play????

ETA:  You may not like the rule, but good grief he dropped his head so much he almost folded in half.  If you call it against the defense, you sure as #### should call it against the offensive players, too.

????  Rostered in both of my leagues, one of which has 10 owners.
With short benches, few teams carry two TE's.  Kittle's ADP made him the #13 TE.   He's available in a lot of leagues.  Owned in less than 40% of ESPN leagues, for example.

What penalty? Trying to get a first down?
I think he is still talking about the leading with the helmet penalties and that Cousins led with his head.

Well Cousins head was facing the ground and the defender struck Cousins in the shoulder, the commentator comments about how this was legal placement of the hit under the new rules.

Cousins took a hell of a shot to his shoulder, you can see it crumple and buckle from the impact of the hit, but it was not to the head so no penalty.

Cousins head never made contact with a defender, so no idea why pinequick is talking about that though.

It is not called fairly against the offense. I agree with that, this just was not a example of the offensive player spearing with the helmet.

Harry the Hitman to seal the game with another interception.

Richardson with the pressure again.

It was a clean hit by the defender, but say the defender on the play was a couple of feet to the right and their helmets had made contact... what do you think the chances are that Cousins would have gotten the penalty on the play (even though he started dropped his head about 2 yards before he hit the ground)?

It would most likely be called against the defense if the helmets made contact.

Alot of good stuff from Minnesota today. Also plenty to work on. Cousins seemed to get a little stiff there for a bit and was trying to throw the ball too hard and fast and lost his touch. The drawing offsides play was hilarious.

As for SF, Kittle and Pettis are pretty nice weapons. I thought Jimmy G looked pretty good, barring the picks of course. SF is definitely a team on the rise.
