The event itself doesn't mean much, but it's fun to watch. Pablo Sandoval defeats Miguel Cabrera in the VWL Homerun Derby.

The guy looks like he can hit just about anything. I was also surprised to see how quick he gets around on a couple of the pitches due to his size.

Hope they can find out what position he can play and just stick him there for a while. As much as I like Josh Phelps, it would be a typical Giants move if they jerk Sandoval around in order to give ABs to Phelps and Ishikawa.I'm OK with SF retiring Rich Aurilia's number if it means they'll never bring him back.
