At some point I wanna upgrade to a newer MacBook Pro from my 2009 model.

other than that I'm good

I wish to be left alone.  

Seriously.  Just a week by myself in a cheap hotel with wifi.  I just want to sleep well with no interruptions.

It's Christmas Dentist, time to be thankful for all that you have.  Trust me, when you get a little older you'll have tons of time alone if that's what you wish.  Enjoy your family now while they still think you can do no wrong.

I'm fine with the holiday.

Wow.. two minutes ago I said the same exact thing to the wife. Except I was specific about Hawaii, and not some random Motel 6 with wifi that you want

If your primary purpose is to game, you'd probably be better off either buying or building a desktop.  I'm guessing you don't need to be mobile to game so hook it up to your tv and you're set. Pretty sure you'd spend substantially less money that way.

I'm on a budget brah, don't want my week off to just cost me two weeks of more work fifteen years from now.
