SB XLII goes to show that football is won by a team (1 Viewer)

It just goes to show all the Manning/Marino haters that this is a team game. Brady was very average, Belichick was average at best, Moss was average, the O line was average, the defense was average.

The better team won on Sunday.

Those of you bashing Manning for "choking" of Marino for not winning a SB, need to give it a rest.

The sum of the parts is far greater than several outstanding individuals.

Congrats to the Giants and their fans.

Congrats to the Patriots for a great, although controversial, season.

For those Patriot fans (and you know who you are) who talked relentless $hi% this year, enjoy the crow, it's best served cold.

To the rest of the reasonable Pats fans (all 5 of you) tough loss, I've been there and it sucks!

I can't wait for next year, is it draft day yet???

:goodposting: Been saying that all along. Brady didn't win those Super Bowls, the Patriots did.

I thought that was obvious by now. Who still says otherwise?
Yeah, good thing we got the head's up here. All along I thought guys like Bruschi, McGinest, Vinatieri, Vrabel, Seymour, Troy Brown, Dillon, Branch, Ted Washington, Bobby Hamilton, Phifer, Ty Law, Harrison and Asante Samuel did nothing to help the Pats win anything.

Well, considering there are about 50 threads in the 1st 4 pages of this forum discussing how QB X is not worthy of best ever discussions because HE didn't win a Super Bowl or as many as QB Y, I'd say there are several out there who don't follow you train of thinking."Brady has won 3 SBs.""Montana has won 4""Marino couldn't win a SB"Etc Etc Etc
