Well, i’ve been watching Reggie in preseason, and he would not fit into the Zone Blocking that Houston now uses...that Denver uses. Denver’s Zone Blocking has produced many STUD RB’s, who were not drafted in the first round, and who could be replaced with another STUD RB.
Reggie Bush is an overpaid scat-back, and his preseason stats would be nothing if that one 44-yard scamper in week-1 had be called back because of the obvious block-in-the-back that helped produce at least half of it. Without that one run, Reggie wouldn’t even be listed as #30 in the preseason Top 30.
Houston did well by passing on him...
